5. Configuring GBS for GemStone/S 64 Bit
The GemStone/S 64 Bit v3.7.5 server requires a compatible version of GBS. Versions of GemBuilder for Smalltalk (GBS) that are compatible with GemStone/S 64 Bit v3.7.5 do not support Smalltalk client applications running on Macintosh.
GemStone/S 64 Bit v3.7.5 supports client Smalltalk/GBS applications running with VisualWorks on Linux and Windows, and with VAST (VA Smalltalk) running on Windows. For a table of all supported GBS and client Smalltalk platforms, see the GemStone/S 64 Bit Release Notes for v3.7.5.
